Steven Mallamo

Steven enrolled at Delaware Tech after attending a four-year college right out of high school. "Unfortunately, life got in the way; Delaware Tech offered me a second chance at getting a degree and finally getting into a career." The radiologic technology program combines his interests in healthcare and science.

Coming to Delaware Tech has been a confidence booster for Steven. "I've proven to myself that I've 'still got it' and continue to get exemplary grades and reviews." He advised students to, "use every resource available and never feel ashamed for asking for help."

Steven has had many positive experiences at Delaware Tech, and he particularly enjoyed his class with Dr. Elsedoudi. "He ran his A&P II class with an amazing mentality and necessary level of commitment that it made students seriously consider, and in many cases, confirm whether or not healthcare was for them."

After earning his associate degree from Delaware Tech, Steven would like to work in hospital administration. "I hope (radiology) will springboard me into more opportunities of more unique diagnostic imaging and eventually help me reach the level of administration."
