Attending college has been on the top of Subrina Niranjan's list for many years. "I have come very far as a person, daughter, wife, and mother of three kids. I worked full time trying to make ends meet but it was not enough. I realized that I needed a college education not only to provide a decent life for myself and my family but also to elevate myself academically. It was also very important for me to set a good example for my kids so that they will want to emulate me after they finish high school; hence, I decided to apply to Delaware Tech to begin my academic journey."

Subrina described attending Delaware Tech as one of the best decisions she has ever made. "Delaware Tech has changed my life for the better. I have gained the knowledge and confidence needed to move forward in my career. It has provided me with a sound education, and it has elevated me to a higher level academically. I can now speak to a large audience without feeling intimidated. Del Tech has molded me, and I will be forever grateful."

Subrina advises other students to "utilize the resources offered at Delaware Tech, such as the writing and math labs and office hours with instructors." Her favorite memory at Delaware Tech is attending New Student Orientation. "I felt blessed to have been given the opportunity to turn my life around by attending Delaware Tech."

Subrina plans to pursue a bachelor's degree at the University of Delaware. Her dream is to one day become a family counselor.
