TRIO - Upward Bound Math & Science
Delaware Tech's Upward Bound Math & Science Center is a pre-college TRIO program designed to motivate and prepare students in the program for the successful pursuit of a college education that leads to careers in the field of math and science. Upward Bound Math & Science Center provides students with academic support services to assist them in the successful completion of high school, engage and inspire students to explore the fields of math, science, engineering and technology, and ultimately graduate from a college or university.
Students are exposed to a variety of educational, cultural events and activities throughout the academic year, as well as attend a six-week summer program that provides academic enrichment, hands-on experiences in math, technology and science, and well as job shadowing and career exploration. University campus tours, cultural trips, and college-centered activities are an integral part of the Upward Bound Math & Science Center experience.
As a federally funded program, there is no cost to students!
